Bloom, 58, of Westminster William Preston Bloom, 56, of Poole Road in Westminster, died Friday night at Fort Howard Veterans Hospital in Baltimore, following an extended illness. Born in New Windsor, he was the son of the later William P. and Anna Jenkins Bloom. A World War II veteran he was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Molleville Farm Post 467, and a former member of the New Windsor United Methodist Church. Surviving are his wife, Marie Lambert Bloom; a sister, Beverly Houser, of New Windsor, and a number of nieces and nephews.
