Hanby, 25, formerly of Wilmington, will be held at Westminster Presbyterian Church, Pennsylvania Avenue and Rodney Street, Wednesday at 3 p.m. Interment will be in Lower Brandywine Cemetery. Friends may call at the Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 24th and Market Streets, from noon until 1 p.m. Wednesday. The family suggests contributions to the memorial fund of Westminster Presbyterian Church. Mr. Hanby was killed Wednesday night in an automobile accident near Mekah Air Force Station, Neah Bay, Wash., where he was stationed. He had been in the Air Force seven and s half years and had planned to return to civilian life in six months. He had been stationed for a year at the Mekah station, a radar installation near the tip of Washington's Olympic Peninsula. Earlier he had served in Japan and other areas. He was married while serving in Japan. Airman Hanby was a graduate of P.S. du Pont High School. Before enlisting he made his home with his mother, Mrs. Magaret Wilson Hanby, 703 W. 32nd St. He was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church. Surviving, in addition to his mother, are his widow, Mrs. Hideko Hanby; a daughter, Jeanette Irene, 3; a son, John William Hanby, 18 months, and his father, Samuel C. Hanby.
