  [S1] Newspaper Clipping. George Theodore Davis Following an illness with typhoid fever, George Theodore Davis, of Lenape road, passed away yesterday morning in the homeopathic Hospital. He was in the forty-fourth year of his age and had been under hospital treatment for more than a week. Mr. Davis was a son of Mr. and Mrs. Theordore Davis, of Longwood. For the past twenty-three years he had been an employee of the Strode firm. He married Miss Rose A. Rogers. Besides his widow and parents, the following children survive: Joseph, Mary, Theodore, Helen, Alice, Cora and Betty, the oldest of whom is sixteen years of age, the youngest four. Three brothers and three sisters also survive: John C. Davis, of Lenape road; Benjamin Davis, of Longwood; William Davis, of Honey Brook; Alice, wife of Walter Munnion, of Philadelphia; Jennie, wife of Roy Hershey, of West Chester, and Abbie, wife of Elwood Devonshire, of White Horse. Mr. Davis had many friends in this community. He was a member of the West Chester Aerie, No. 1720, Fraternal Order of Eagles.
