  [S1] Newspaper Clipping, 14 Dec 1899, Daily Local News. Sculptress Nevin Buys a Farm Says a Lancaster special of last night: Miss Blanche Nevin, of Belmar, N. J., the sculptress who created the statue of General Muhlenberg, the soldier preacher of the Rev0olution, for the capitol at Washington, has pruchased from Mrs. Kete R. Cummins the Windsor farm, in Caernarvon township, the old home of her family, and will make it her summer residence. Miss Nevin, who is a painter, poet and journalist, as well as sculptress, is a daughter of the late John Williamson Nevin, LL., D., a former president of Franklin and Marshall College. Nrs, Catherine Cummins died on Monday afternoon ar 3 o'clock at the home of Mrs. Irvin, in Churchtown, where she had resided for the past six years. Deceased was 92 years of age and death was caused bt the infirmities of age. Funeral services were held on Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the Bangor Episcopal church at Churchtown and interment was made in the Presbyterian cemetery.
