  [S1] Newspaper Clipping, 20 Jan 1932, Perry County Democrat. Absalom J. Yohn, Civii War veteran and the last soldier living in this vicinity, died Monday morning after being ill for some time. It is thought he suffered a stroke about two weeks ago, which evidently hastened his end. The deceased is survived by his aged wife and two sons and two daughters, namely, George W. Yohn, at home; David Yohn. of near Elliottsbirg; Mrs. Ida Diller, of Clouser Valley and Mrs. James Comp, of near Roseburg. Funeral arrangements have not been completed as we write, but interment will be made in the Center Presbyterian Church Cemetey in the family burial plot. THe deceased was in the 90th year of his age at his demise.
