  [S1] Newspaper Clipping, 10 Oct 1891, Patriot (Harrisburg, PA). Miss Carrie McCune, daughter of J. A. C. Mccune, esq. of Shippensburg, will be married next Wednesday to W. C. Weston, of Harrisburg. The ceremony will take place at the residence of the bride's parents at 11 o'clock a.m. [S1] Newspaper Clipping, 15 Oct 1891, The Chronicle. Weston- McCune Miss Carrie R. McCune, eldest daughter of J. A. C. McCune, esq., was married at the residence of her parents on Normal avenue Wednesday morning at 11 o'clock to Mr. Walter C. Weston, of Harrisburg. No invitations had been issued and the ceremony was witnessed only by relatives and a few close friends of both parties, about fifty being present. Miss Aggie Matthews played the wedding march and the bride and groom entered unattended. Rev. W. A McCarrell, of the Shippensburg Presbyterian church, performed the ceremony. The bride was attired in a travelling dress of light gray cloth. She received many handsome presents. After the ceremony and congratulations had been concluded luncheon was served to the guests present. Mr. and Mrs. Weston took the 1.18 P.M. at Normal avenue for a bridal tour which included visits to a number of distant cities. Announcement cards were issued after the departure of the bridal party. stating that they would be at home after the first of November at the Bolton House, Harrisburg, of which Mr. Weston is one of the proprietors.
