  [S1] Newspaper Clipping, 12 Apr 1907, The Democratic Advocate (Westminster, MD). Ogborn Mrs. Eliza Ogborn died April 4 at the residence of Mrs. Laura J. Cramer, Mt. Pleasant, Md. She was the widow of John W. Ogborn and daughter of Thomas and Jane Pole. She was born January 7, 1818, near Sam's Creek. She was the last survivor of 11 children, among whom were John G. Pole, Lexington, Va.; CHarles, of Shullsburg, Wis.; George W., of Hagersown; Mrs. Francis Baile, of New Windsor, and Mrs. Thomas Gorsuch, of Frederick. She was first cousin of Miss Susan and the late Sarah Stevenson of Towson. Mrs. Ogborn is survived by three daughters - Mrs. Laura J. Cramer, Mount Pleasant; Mrs. E. E. Buckey, LInwood; Mrs. Jasper L. Englar, New WIndsor -- and four granschildren and five great grandchildren. She was for 10 year bedfast with rheumatism, and her sufferings were great, yet she bore them with patience and Christian fortitude. She was a member of the Episcopal Church. The funeral took place on Saturday at Mrs. Jasper L. Englar's. Dr. Frazier, of New WIndsor, officated.
