  [S1] Newspaper Clipping, 26 Oct 1887, The Morning News, Wilmington, DE. Odessa, Del., Oct. 25 the funeral of Charles Tatman, who died at his home her on last Friday afternoon, was held this afternoon at 1 o'clock. A large number of the relatives and friends of the deceased, especially from Philadelphia and Sussex county in this state, were present to pay their last respects to him. The Rev. J. P. Otis, formerly pastor of the M.E. church of this town, conducted the services, being assisted by the Rev. T. R. Creamer. The [pall-bearers were taken from the officers and directors of the bank of which he had been president so many years. The remains were laid in the grave with his mother in the M. E. cemetery of this place, where she was buried forty-five years ago.
