  [S1] Newspaper Clipping, 5 Dec 1883, Daily Local News. Sudden Death - Hettie B. Trimble, a well-known and estimable lady, died very suddenly at her residence, on South High street, near the Noraml School. She had been indisposed since Friday last, but recovered so much yesterday that she deemed it unnecessary to have any attendant remain up with her during the night. About midnight she arose from her bed and, as is supposed, had scarcely gotten on the floor when she expired. Dr. Price, her attending physician, pronounces her case very much like the sudden taking-off of our late townsman, Eber D. Haines, he attributing her unexpected demise to heart disease. Deceased came to West Chester from New Castle, Delaware, about twenty years ago. She took great interest in the propagation of grapes and flowers and spent most o f her time among apartments at her home devoted to the raising of the same. Indeed it may be truthfully said that her interest in the cultivation of the different varieties of grapes gave her a name in that connection which extended throughout a considerable part of the country.
