  [S1] Newspaper Clipping, 8 Dec 194, The News Journal (Wilmington, DE). G. K. McFarland Dies; Was Retired Attorney West Chester, Pa., Dec. 8 - (Speical) George K. McFarland, 73, retired attorney, insurance and investment broker, died yesterday at Presbyterian Hospital, Philadelphia. Mr. McFarland was a member of the board of directors of the First National Bank of West Chester for 44 years. He was born and spent all of his life in West Chester, living recently at Wind Ridge on the outskirts of the borough. He was educated at the old West Chester Normal School and Penn State College. He was a Mason and a charter member of the West Chester Golf and Country Club. Surviving are two daughters, Mary, widow of James L. Lohrke, of Westtown, and Elizabeth B., at home. Funeral services will be held tomorrow at 2 o\'clock from his home. Burial will be at Oaklands Cemetery.
