  [S38] Obituary, Chapel Hill Funeral Home. Bettie Marie Moore passed away May 27, 2011. She was born May 27, 1923, in Lawton OK to Harrison and Beulah Hiester. Bettie worked for Goodwill and the Oklahoma League for the Blind for several years and continued her career at the Baptist General Convention until she retired. Bettie worked the majority of her adult life at the Baptist General Convention. She served as executive secretary for the Baptist Messenger for nearly 28 years. After retirement she served as the Gaskin Archives Historical Specialist for 6 years. She lived in Oklahoma City for over 40 years and was a charter member of the Village Baptist Church. She was an accomplished crochet and knitting master and was very adapt on her computer during her senior years. With her sharp mind and years of business experience, she will be missed by all whose path she crossed. Bettie was preceded in death by her parents, 3 sisters, 1 brother, and her loving husband. She is survived by 2 sons, 2 daughters-in-law, 3 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild.
