Cross - Englar A pretty wedding took place Tuesday at noon in Clifton Street Methodist Episcopal Church, where Miss Elizabeth Lee Englar, daughter of Mrs. Rachel A. Englar, of Baltimore, was married to Mr. Charles Carroll Cross, of Ferguson, S.C. The ceremony was performed by Rev. William Morgan Cross, of Renwick, Pa., brother of the groom, assisted by Rev. John T. Ensor, pastor of the church. The bride wore a becoming going-away gown of brown Sappho chiffon silk, trimmed with Persian applique, with hat and gloves to match, and carried Bride roses, The only attendant was little Miss Elizabeth Adelia Stouffer, her niece, who acted as flower girl, attired in a dainty frock of Pairs muslin and lace. She led the bridal procession, carrying a basket which contained the wedding ring. The ushers were Messrs. John Emory Cross and Edward S. Englar, brothers of the bride and groom. Before leaving for the church a luncheon was served at 11.30 o'clock at the home of the bride's mother, 2531 West North avenue. Immediately after the ceremony Mr. and Mrs. Cross left for a trip North and will make their home at The Pines, Ferguson, S. C.
